Leaving from the heart of Fort Bragg is the famous Skunk Train. The Oakland tourists plus the gracious host happily climbed aboard. We all ate popcorn and stood in the outside car to take in the sites, sounds, and clean air smell of the back woods. Our boy, Jack, is being camera shy this trip, so we were constantly faking him out to get a pix. In the tradition of his sister, he wanted one of those souvenir pennies with the skunk train on it. I think that he just wanted to see the machine operate because ten minutes later the flattened penny was in the trash can. "That figures!"
